Ashley Fenzl Crossman, Ph.D., Launches She Runs Strong, LLC, a Women's Running Program with a Twist
Online, December 10, 2010 (Newswire.com) - In 2004, Ashley co-founded Girls on the Run of Maricopa County, a non-profit after-school program that encourages girls in 3rd through 8th grade to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. Through this process, she realized that the issues young girls face today aren't just relevant to this age group, but are affecting women of all ages. Women, she realized, could benefit from similar lessons and tools that are interwoven with running, and a business was born.
She Runs Strong, LLC provides running coaching to women of all abilities while empowering them in all aspects of life. With years of experience, Ashley provides a fun, empowering, and safe environment for women to train for any distance. In addition to providing valuable information and feedback on running, nutrition, and injury prevention, Ashley provides clients with powerful lessons and tools on important issues that women are facing today, including body image, "mommy guilt," work/life balance, stress, and so much more. Every client receives a customized training program and individualized attention to meet their goals.
Coaching is done via telephone and e-mail, so women all over the world can sign up. For those living in the Phoenix, Arizona area, Ashley hosts weekly group runs for women to come together, have fun, and create a support network.
