Asia Tour Advisor Announce Even More Laos Travel Destinations

Asia Tour Advisor have been in the travel business in Southeast Asia for more than fifteen years. They have gained an intimate knowledge of the countries in which they operate, to everything from first enquiry to the conclusion of the holiday.

With this intimate knowledge they are continually refining and upgrading the service and the destinations that they offer. They are seeing a huge increase in the number of enquiries from people requiring Laos travel advice.

Whilst Vientiane and Luang Prabang are obviously the big destinations in Laos, ATA have tried to include lesser knoan places at the same time. Now package trips to Pakse, Don Khong and the Boliven Plateau are drawing good travel figures.

Mr. Tran Truong , AsiaTourAdvisor CEO says, "Our success as an industry leader is the direct result of our drive to understand our clients and their specific travel needs. But we don't stop there. We have a passion for the Indochina region and our mission is to share its stories history, culture and beauty with the rest of the world."

The approach is working. Indochina was, for many years, the poor relation when it came to tourism. Thailand has always draw good numbers but countries like Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar (admittedly for different reasons) didn't. Even Cambodia which has always had of course the added bonus of Angkor Wat, has now started seeing rapid improvements to visitor figures. It appears now that the whole area is opening up. Myanmar's decision to open it's previously secret country, has added an enormous boost to the area. There has been an real knock-on effect for countries such as Laos Cambodia and Vietnam. People no longer want to visit just one country now. More and more people are taking longer vacations and visiting three or four countries on one holiday.

Areas like Pakse and the 4000 Islands are receiving more visitors than they ever have. The astonishing beauty of Laos and the warmth of its people are getting rave reviews. Everything appears to be in its favour at the moment. The prices in Europe have never been higher and people are realizing that even taking a long haul flight into account, a two week holiday in Indochina will always work out cheaper than two weeks in Europe.

Mr Tran again, "We have so many first time visitors coming it is really exciting. They almost always express a wish to return. There doesn't appear to be any limit to the growth in Southeast Asia travel. It looks very good for the future, indeed."

The history of the country and the cultural development means of course that here is no shortage of things to do and see. This interesting country has an awful lot to offer these days.
