Online, October 18, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Atlanta Technology Force, Inc. has agreed to provide pro bono maintenance, monitoring, service and support for all computer-related equipment at the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) as well as consult on any technology-related projects the Museum may have for the next 12 months. The accord was reached between Atlanta Technology Force President, Inc., Todd Wahl, and MODA Executive Director, Brenda Galina, in an effort to help MODA better leverage their technology to facilitate the Museum's mission of presenting all aspects of design through exhibitions and educational outreach.
Atlanta Technology Force, Inc. (ATF) has graciously agreed to donate more than $14,000 in technology-related services to Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA). MODA will receive ATF's, "USM Advanced Managed IT Services" package, which includes (but is not limited to) 24/7 Network Operation Center (NOC) maintenance and monitoring, as well as proactive services and full support for all MODA's network and computer infrastructure, including end-point security, off-site back-up, licensing and management. Additionally, ATF's consultations will be performed by Mr. Wahl and his team of experienced advisors, which will ensure that MODA takes full advantage of the technology at their disposal.
Atlanta Technology Force will also play a pivotal role in Museum of Design's upcoming move to 1315 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, Georgia 30309 (directly across the street from the High Museum of Art). ATF will help decide the network design as well as implement and test the schematic's functionality. MODA is scheduled to open its doors at the new location on January 1, 2011.
