ATLANTA'S HOMETOWN GUY, DEJI LaRAY, GUEST STARS ON THE NEW NBC SHOW "LOVE BITES" JUNE 9TH @10PM

Online, June 7, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Actor/Director Deji LaRay will guest star on the New NBC Comedy "Love Bites" on June 9th at 10pm along side some other acting heavy weights such as Michelle Trachtenberg (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Gossip Girl) and Doris Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond)

Deji grew up in Riverdale, Georgia and graduated from Riverdale High. He began acting as a child, starring in major motion films such as Once Upon A Time When We Were Colored with Phylicia Rashad, "The Wedding" starring Oscar award winning actress, Halle Berry, and Guest Starring on the hit show "New York Undercover" as a Antonie, a troubled street kid involved in pitbull dogfighting.

More recently Deji recurred on the NBC show American Dreams and starred in episodes of Hawthorne (Jada Pinkett-Smith), Without A Trace, Dirty Sexy Money, CSI:NY, The Shield, Passions, and Lincoln Heights.

Currently, Deji is slated to star in the indie thiller feature film entitled "Route 14" about a roadtrip to Vegas gone very bad. He recently produced the Feature Film "The Dark Party" directed by A Different World's Kadeem Hardison, and will serve as producer on Route 14 as well. Deji LaRay is also a director which is drawing slight comparisons to Tyler Perry. Deji feels he has a ways to go to reach Tyler's status but welcomes the comparison. Deji has directed music videos for Bone Thugs N Harmony, Oj Da Juiceman, and Tech N9ne to name a few. He is currently living in Los Angeles, California but spends a lot of time in Atlanta.
