Atlanta's Public Access Cable Channel, People TV Atlanta, Holds Free October Orientation Workshop
Atlanta, GA, October 12, 2015 (Newswire.com) - People TV Atlanta is holding its free orientation workshop on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 7pm to 8:30pm. The orientation workshop is a prerequisite for persons interested in attending television production workshops and/or producing television programming using People TV facilities and equipment. "If you have aspirations of creating your own TV show, we encourage you to come to our orientation and found out how," says Teddy Lewis, People TV Managing Director. "In 2012, People TV was preparing to close its doors but thanks to Mayor Kasim Reed and his staff, we are still here providing Access, Education and Empowerment to the citizens of Atlanta in 2015!"
The orientation workshop includes a history of public access, television production workshops offered and requirements for producer certification. This free workshop requires registration as it is limited to 50 persons. Please visit www.peopletv.org to register.
