ATRIO Health Plans Announces 2018 Exit From the Oregon Commercial Marketplace
SALEM, Ore., June 5, 2017 (Newswire.com) - ATRIO Health Plans, serving individuals, families, employer groups and Medicare beneficiaries in southwestern Oregon, has recently announced its plans to withdraw its bid to provide commercial business in Oregon for 2018.
“Our decision to make this announcement and refocus the organization on our core competency was driven by the uncertainty and instability of the ACA/ACHA and the inability to obtain favorable facility contracts for our commercial business in certain geographic markets,” said Samuel Porter, Interim Chief Executive Officer at ATRIO. “ATRIO is committed to working with our commercial members through the end of their contract terms. ATRIO is enthusiastically continuing to evolve our Medicare Advantage products in Marion, Polk, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath and Douglas counties and anticipates another strong sales season in 2018.”
ATRIO has completed its 2018 Medicare Advantage bid submission in all of its existing service areas, and looks forward to working with current members, future members and the health care providers in these communities.
