Jeffery M. Leving, Attorney

-          Reducing a parent’s child support obligation by almost 50 percent while increasing the parent’s visitation time with the parent’s son by more than 150 percent and obtaining visitation with the daughter who had been estranged from the parent.

-          Obtaining an annulment for a client who was duped into a marriage for love when the spouse was truly after the client’s inherited wealth.

-          Vacating a protection order for a man after the deadline to appeal and other legal recourses had passed by proving the order was obtained with fabricated documents and lies from another man.

-          Efficiently securing a consent divorce decree for an American husband whose Chinese wife allegedly married him for documents and money.

“I am honored to have Ms. Inns as our firm’s new attorney. I know she will safeguard her clients with the most respect and tenacity while fighting to secure their victories,” said attorney Jeffery M. Leving.

Laura B. Inns earned her Juris Doctorate degree cum laude from Creighton University School of Law, where she served on the Creighton Law Review and represented her school in the International Trademark Association's Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition. While in law school, Ms. Inns also clerked at the Omaha Immigration Court assisting judges in drafting decisions before she entered private practice. Ms. Inns is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Nebraska.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Inns gained substantial experience as a journalist for more than a decade. She witnessed the substantial impact of traumatic events affecting families and children such as domestic violence and sudden infant death syndrome. She was able to establish trust with everyone from homeless people to corporate executives.

Ms. Inns found her way into family law after representing private practice clients in estate disputes, real estate disputes, and general civil litigations. When it comes to families, especially children, Ms. Inns is hard-wired to protect. She prioritized her family law cases until they became the focus of her practice. As a family law attorney, she has represented parents and grandparents protecting the best interests of children and continues to do so at the highest level of excellence.

The Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving is internationally known for rescuing children from around the world and reuniting fathers and children. The firm routinely does what others consider to be impossible. The firm’s founder, Jeffery M. Leving, has been recognized by government leaders (including the last three U.S. Presidents and the Illinois House of Representatives), private industry, his peers, and non-profit agencies. His latest book, How to be a Good Divorced Dad, received praise from President Barack Obama, and was endorsed by the late Cardinal Francis George of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
