Audi Volkswagen Middle East Select Singularity BPM Suite to Achieve Efficiency and Cost-Savings

Leading Global BPM Software vendor Singularity enables Audi Volkswagen Middle East to achieve efficiency improvements, including enhanced management control, lower costs, greater transparency and much reduced paperwork.

Audi Volkswagen Middle East (AVME) imports Audi and Volkswagen vehicles, as well as parts, for its partners across the region. It provides marketing, sales and after sales support for dealers in order to further boost sales of Volkswagen Group products in the Middle East.

AVME had previously purchased a business process management system from a competitor of Singularity. Despite this, AVME decided to acquire a replacement system to achieve further improvements to its local purchasing system and to increase its quality and control of procurement.

AVME required a user-friendly, easy-to-use platform that did not require programming skills or high levels of technical expertise in-house. AVME chose Singularity, ahead of several competitors, to supply a Business Process Management (BPM) system that would be used for local purchasing orders. The system works with their existing Microsoft and other systems, including SAP, and enhances the operating capacity of those legacy systems.

Singularity installed its BPM Suite, the Singularity Process Platform (SPP), quickly and to the client's complete satisfaction. The system operates efficiently and without any problems. The loading of data onto the system is carried out by AVME without the need for detailed support from Singularity. The platform is delivering efficiency improvements as well as cost savings. AVME is pleased with the system and is now considering using the Singularity Process Platform for additional applications such as improving its human resource management functions.

Tina Hasper, I.T. Manager at AVME, said: "Singularity impressed us with their product and their attitude. They provided a solution that exactly met our needs - to bring together processes and systems in a way that worked in the hands of staff that are excellent, but are not software engineers."

"We got what we wanted from Singularity. We have a system that works, that was quickly operational, that we can operate ourselves without constant external support and which knits together our various legacy systems. It has greatly improved our procurement control," Tina added.

Dermot McCauley, VP of Corporate Development, at Singularity said "Audi and Volkswagen are beginning to reap the benefits of business process agility through the adoption of our Business Process Management Suite. Initial feedback has been very encouraging and we are pleased to be part of their long-term strategic plans to streamline other operational areas of their business through the Singularity BPM Suite."
