Online, April 25, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Responding to growth in its installed base, the UK subsidiary has recruited additional engineers and purchased new support vehicles including fully equipped response vans permanently located close to customers' sites.
Investment has also been made in test benches at the company's US, Russian and Italian operations. Representing an investment of approximately 280,000 Euros, the new benches - which are designed to test actuators and controls, replicate the equipment installed at AUMA's main manufacturing plants. During 2013, the group's Chinese operation will also receive delivery of new test benches.
Purchase of test tools is backed by regular education for the company's global workforce. An intensive fieldbus induction was completed by AUMA's Scandinavian technicians and service specialists in Brazil and Singapore successfully completed the Certified PROFIBUS Engineer training course.
