Austin Restaurant Group Launches "Jingle Balls, A Holiday Golf Ball Drive" Benefiting The First Tee of Greater Austin

Online, December 4, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The holiday golf ball drive will begin Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at each of the Baldirama restaurants: the Texican Cafe at Lakeline, the original Texican Cafe at Manchaca, the Texican Sports Cantina at Brodie Oaks and Cafe 1626 in South Austin. "Collaborating with The First Tee organization is a wonderful honor, and a unique opportunity for our restaurants to give back to an organization that means a lot to us personally and to the community as a whole," says Mourad Belkacem, owner of the Texican Cafes, the Texican Sports Cantina, Cafe 1626 and soon to open (Feb 2011) Draft Pick.

People are encouraged to bring gently used and new golf balls to each of the restaurant locations throughout the month of December. The golf balls will be donated to The First Tee of Greater Austin at the end of the month to enhance future and existing programs throughout the year.
