Autism Speaks Broward Elects New Board Members

Autism Speaks Broward is pleased to announce the election of two new members to its Board of Directors.  These members are business executives who come with diverse business backgrounds: Jay Katari, CEO and Founder of My Favorite Therapists and Jason Degesero, Area Manager for GameStop. The wide range of backgrounds allows Autism Speaks Broward to continue improving and flourishing in numerous areas.

“As we sharpen our focus on increasing awareness and improving the services for children and adults with autism and their families in the Broward community, we welcome the addition of these two outstanding Board members,” said Julie Salas, Executive Director of the South Florida Chapter of Autism Speaks. “Their business expertise in strategic planning, finance, and public-private partnerships will strengthen the ability to take Autism Speaks to another level and increase our impact in the community.”

In addition to the two new Board members, the following members currently serve on the Broward Board, with Connie Ribeaux of Fed Ex as its Chair, Vice Chairman Scott Allman of Aon Florida, Donna D’Eri of Rising Tide Carwash, Dr. Roni Leiderman of Mailman Segal Center at Nova Southeastern University, William Solis of JP Morgan Chase, Neal Shapiro, and JP Villanueva of GTB.
