Automated Systems Design Awarded GSA Schedule 70 Contract

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded Automated Systems Design (ASD) an Information Technology Schedule 70 contract.

Automated Systems Design (ASD), Inc. has been awarded an Information Technology Schedule 70 contract by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), the procurement agency of the federal government. The Information Technology Schedule 70 contract provides numerous opportunities for ASD to grow and expand into the government sector market. Now, federal, state and local government customers are able to purchase ASD's information transport system services and products, including ASD's high-performance iCAT-ITS™ CAT 5E, CAT 6E, and 10-gigabit CAT 6a copper cables, as well as ASD's iGLO-ITS™ fiber optic products.

"Countless government sector organizations are in need of quality information transport system services and products," said Bob Eskew, founder and CEO of ASD. "The Information Technology Schedule 70 contract opens numerous doors for ASD to provide these services cost-effectively to the government sector. At ASD, we manufacture our own structured cabling products and then sell them direct, saving clients thousands, sometimes even millions, of dollars on network infrastructure costs."

In addition to manufacturing structured cabling products and cables, ASD manages physical infrastructures, including projects that involve moves, adds or changes. ASD specializes in designing and installing wired and wireless network environments, surveillance and access control systems and building automation systems.
