Automated Systems Design Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Bob Keys Joining the Company

Automated Systems Design, Inc. (ASD) celebrates the many contributions of Bob Keys, who joined ASD in 1992.

Automated Systems Design, Inc. (ASD) is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Bob Keys joining the company. Keys began working at ASD May 26, 1992, only five years after the company was founded. Now ASD is a leading service provider and manufacturer of information transport systems. In recent years ASD's sales have topped $20,000,000. With the help of Keys, the company has grown to include 35 associates and a network of more than 700 AASDIs (Authorized ASD Installers).

Keys has more than 27 years of experience in the structured cabling industry. He has earned a BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) status, and he is also a low voltage electrical license holder. Keys began his career with ASD as an inside salesperson for house accounts. Shortly thereafter, Keys was put in charge of ASD's entire service department where he managed all service work. He was then promoted to operations manger where he supervised the entire team of project managers. He went on to become vice president of engineering. While vice president of engineering, he moved from Atlanta, Georgia, to Hickory, North Carolina, to support the operations of the North Carolina branch. Currently, Keys is a national service consultant for ASD. He is responsible for managing some of ASD's largest and most prestigious accounts. Keys also specializes in providing estimates and project management services for clients.

"Bob has served in many roles at ASD. He has always demonstrated the dedication, skills, initiative and excellent customer service that our clients expect on a daily basis," said Kevin Kiziah, president of ASD. "Bob is a 'go-to guy' within our company and is respected by his fellow employees, management team and partners throughout the industry. Bob has been instrumental in the overall success of ASD, and we look forward to his future contributions. We are proud to have him on our team."
