Avamere at Port Townsend Distributes COVID-19 Vaccine

PORT TOWNSEND, Wash., December 18, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Avamere at Port Townsend, an independent and assisted living community, is receiving their first COVID-19 vaccinations on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020. 

Two employees are receiving the vaccine through Jefferson Healthcare, a local hospital that received enough doses for healthcare workers in Jefferson County.

Avamere at Port Townsend employees will have the opportunity to receive the COVID-19 vaccine throughout the week of December 21. Patients, residents, and employees within the Avamere Family of Companies will have access to the COVID-19 vaccine in the coming weeks and months.
