Avenda Systems Selected to Present on Network Access Control at Interop New York 2009 Conference

Avenda to discuss Adaptive Policy Provisioning deployment model as part of all day seminar "Understanding, Designing, and Deploying Network Access Control (NAC)"

Santa Clara, Calif., Nov. 16, 2009 - Avenda Systems, the innovator in identity-aware network security, today announced that it has been selected to present at Interop New York 2009, being held Nov. 16 - 20 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.

Bhagya Prasad, lead deployment engineer at Avenda Systems, will outline scenarios based on the adaptive policy provisioning model in the "Understanding, Designing, and Deploying Network Access Control (NAC)" pre-conference seminar led by Joel Snyder, senior partner of Opus One, on Tuesday, Nov. 17. Attendees will learn how to address limitations of early NAC solutions and identify how today's identity and NAC functionality will address current network access concerns.

"As a vendor that supports both single-vendor solutions and multi-vendor NAC architectures, we're pleased to have Avenda participating in Interop's pre-conference technical seminar this year," said Interop General Manager Lenny Heymann. "It's a real benefit to our attendees to meet with industry experts that are engaged with customer deployments on a daily basis."

Adaptive Policy Provisioning takes a phased approach to Network Access Control deployment that accommodates the ever-changing use cases for enterprise access security. With a phased model and tools, Avenda provides network managers with the ability to build a strong link between users and endpoints, and access to network resources.
