Avercast® Co-Founders Honored by Influential Supply Chain Publication
Jason Averill, Executive Vice President, and Clark Johnson, Chief Operations Officer, Named 2012 'Provider Pros to Know'
Online, February 19, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Two co-founders of Avercast LLC were named 2012 "Provider Pros to Know" by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine. The honor is announced in the publication's March 2012 issue. In addition to their role in founding Avercast, the two are also the growing company's Executive Vice President and its Chief Operations Officer.
"Our annual list of Provider Pros to Know highlights the many thought-leaders who are helping to shape the supply chain industry and advance supply chain as a respected discipline in the enterprise," said Barry Hochfelder, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "Their efforts in developing the tools, processes and knowledge base necessary for supply chain transformation, and in promoting new approaches to supply chain enablement, have earned them a place on this year's Provider Pros listing."
As Executive Vice President, Jason Averill manages all of the day-to-day business aspects of Avercast and provides oversight for the worldwide network of value-added resellers. He also oversees all marketing initiatives and works closely with the marketing director and marketing team. Jason is the chief negotiator for Avercast, LLC and spends much of his time communicating with the management teams of prospective customers. A second generation supply chain expert, Jason's father, Gene Averill, was honored last year by the magazine for pioneering many of the demand management planning technologies that are commonplace today.
Chief Operations Officer Clark Johnson oversees all of Avercast's professional services and manages customer implementation projects. He also leads the testing team that validates each product prior to its release. Clark has worked with such companies as Avery Dennison, Hyundai North America, Boise Cascade (Office Max), Toshiba, Hansen Beverage Company, Ventura Foods, EATON, HR Textron, Behr, Fender Guitar, Lions Gate Entertainment, Black & Decker, Neutrogena and Simple Green, among others. Clark has also presented numerous seminars over the years where he is a crowd favorite on the topics of industry best practices and how to avoid common demand planning pitfalls.
