1. explore how the modern world has and continues to contribute to our global crisis in a presentation that uses inspiring video, current facts and figures, and offers opportunity for dynamic group interaction.
2. hear from some of the world's leading experts on topics as diverse as the current state of the Earth's biodiversity and the reality of the socio-economic disparity throughout the world.
Through this inquiry, each individual can discover their unique stand that they may take for a more just, sustainable, and fulfilling world.
3. learn of a new campaign launched this year by The Pachamama Alliance: "Four Years Go", www.fouryearsgo.org empowering participants with new visions of a future evolving from the modern world's transformation in the next four years.
This is an opportunity to share your concerns about the state of the world with like-minded members of your community, and offer support to each other in taking steps to effect the changes that you wish to see.
Participants leave the Symposium empowered to take clear steps to embody their vision for a better world, with the possibility of establishing new connections to work with others on common issues.
The vision of the initiative is to generate widespread awakening at the grassroots level that leads to a transformation of the modern worldview, such that humanity becomes committed to restoring and protecting the environment and creating the opportunities for a just and fulfilled human future.
