Award Winning Movers Offer Tips Preparing For Midterms

It is that time of year again. Testing Testing!! You don't have to fret or drink a million cups of coffee getting little to no sleep just to pass that final. In fact, that is probably the worst thing you can do.

It is that time of year again. Testing Testing!! You don't have to fret or drink a million cups of coffee getting little to no sleep just to pass that final. In fact, that is probably the worst thing you can do. "I found myself needing more sleep and less coffee when finals came around", declares Heather Evans, Move Consultant for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, Sacramento. "I learned quite quickly that the calmer I made my life, the better I did on the test." At a time when many of us, scurry and freak out, here are some tips to make life go a little smoother and give you a leg up on passing that mid term.

• Manage Your Time Wisely. Make plans, this is not the time to live by the seat of your pants. Be purposeful in what you're doing and prioritize.

• Make Study Breaks. You will go absolutely bonkers if you plan life around studying, instead plan studying around your life. Live. And through out the day schedule in an hour to study, perhaps do this 2-3 times each day and you wil see a greater benefit than just simply "studying for an entire day".

• Make Use Of Study Sheet & Sessions. If help is offered by all means, you would be a fool not to take advantage of it. But remember, this is a tool to supplement your studying, not replace it.

• MAKE SURE YOU SLEEP. Very few people can actually function properly on 3 hours of sleep. Be realistic, you know yourself. Take Care of yourself and get some sleep.

• WORK OUT. Exercise is natures stress reliever; even a short- brisk walk can do wonders for your psyche. Keep that blood flowing, your brain needs it.

• Prioritize. If you are naturally better at one subject, obviously you can spend less time studying for it. Put things in perspective to ensure "good" grades across the board.

• Use Your Friends. Form study groups; just be careful not to turn this time into social hour, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE STUDYING.

• Suspend Other Activities. Just for the few weeks, do less socializing and maybe even work a little less-if possible. Don't over burden yourself with a ton to d-then you'll benefit no one.

• Don't Be Afraid To Ask For Help. Ask the professor if you need to. That is what they're there for.

• Reality Is. What can possibly happen if you don't do excellent on these tests? Chances are you won't die. Sure it would be a set back and create a little hurdle. But by no means is this a life or death situation. So, it is okay, you can relax.
