Independent filmmaker Rita Jean Moran has finished and released her first feature film, "Bad Billy Brown," that was made mostly in Lake County, Illinois, and Chicago. The cast includes local actors and some actors from the midwest area.

Independent filmmaker Rita Jean Moran has finished and released her first feature film that was made mostly in Lake County, Illinois, and Chicago. The cast (Larry Biela, Joshua Marie Brown, John McDonnell, Tony Lee Gratz, Jessica McShane and Rose Konvalinka) includes local actors and some actors from the Midwest area as well as a local film company (Imagination to Capture). All of the actors have a multitude of accomplishments under their belt. 

Rita Jean Moran started out writing screenplays and then moved on to writing and publishing her own books. She has now come back full circle and is producing her screenplays/book adaptations and is bringing many new and fresh ideas to the industry. Now is the time for independent movie producers and writers to rise with the advent of new technology and online resources, and Rita is making full use of it to revolutionize the indie industry.

This film was made at locations in the Lake County area including an American Legion Hall, several historic cemeteries, Chicago Riverwalk, forest preserves and various other locations. This movie has many plot twists and is sure to surprise as well as entertain with a powerful message at the end.
