ORLANDO, FL, September 23, 2015 (Newswire.com) - ​Baggage for Pope Francis on his first papal visit to the United States — and luggage for his traveling entourage — is being handled by Bags Inc., the Orlando-based travel-services company announced Wednesday.

Bags’ services began Tuesday afternoon with a pickup of luggage at Joint Base Andrews military base, outside Washington, D.C. Bags said it will use a total of three large trucks to securely transport the papal party’s luggage during the six-day U.S. visit.

Bags said the company is complying fully with rigorous security requirements for handing and transporting baggage through numerous stops between Washington and New York. Those requirements include collaboration with the Secret Service and the Swiss Guard, which is traditionally responsible for the security of the pope during his travels and in Vatican City.
