"WE MADE THIS MOVIE BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE GETTING PULVERIZED INTO FINE WHITE POWDER ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY" - JOHN TITUS
Muck-Raking Documentary About The Financial Crisis
Bailout, a documentary feature film that exposes a broad array of frauds perpetrated by big money-center banks on the American middle class, has selected Workhouse as Agency of Record (A.O.R). Workhouse will develop integrated promotional campaigns that synchronize communication efforts and will execute a comprehensive public relations plan on behalf of the film festivals, screenings and special promotions. The film features well-known personalities from both sides of the political aisle leveling blistering attacks on the anything-for-big-banks culture that pervades all of politics today. Noam Chomsky, Chris Hedges, and Yves Smith deliver critiques from the traditional "left," counter-balanced by MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan, Florida Tea Party co-founder Karl Denninger, and Wall Street banking analyst Christopher Whalen. The Assignment is effective immediately. Interested media please contact Workhouse, CEO Adam Nelson directly via email [email protected] or by telephone +1 646. 205. 3540.

BAILOUT: THE MOVIE
Bailout is the tale of an unemployed Chicago lawyer who stops paying his mortgage and enlists four friends (also unemployed) to join him in a Winnebago trip to Vegas. Their plan is tear a page out of Wall Street's playbook and piss away the bank's money by partying their asses off. Along the way our gang discovers first hand how Americans have been adversely affected by the financial crisis, principally through foreclosures. See first-hand how politically powerful banks are systemically eliminating America's middle class through off-shored job losses and fraudulent home foreclosures. An enigma wrapped in Doc-hybrid form, Bailout is a social documentary that explores American anger with the Wall Street elites who survive and thrive on their cancerous system of bailouts, fraud, and political corruption that actively work in concert to destroy Main Street. From entry-level workers in northeast Indiana RV factories to Congressional leaders to rock stars, Bailout tells the story of recent American economic events through the mouths of people who labored through thick and thin--what it was and how it has affected us all. The film focuses on unchecked financial fraud and the refusal to punish such fraud that lies at the root of our nation's illness, examined through the well informed filter of its lead character, John Titus and his "dukes of moral hazard". While many financial documentaries have done a great job of enraging audiences and leaving us shaking our heads, Bailout is a call to action inspiring Americans to exercise their right to speak out against injustice and take their grievances to the streets until their voices are heard. In early 2011, Titus re-connected with an old friend, accomplished filmmaker/director Sean Fahey, to pitch the idea: attorney (Titus) stops paying his mortgage and heads to Vegas with some unemployed buddies in a Winnebago to blow the withheld money partying. Sean thought it would be a good idea, along the way, if they interviewed victims of the foreclosure crisis, as well as financial experts to explain things like credit default swaps. And that is how Bailout was born. Fahey and his crew of Chicago filmmakers began production in April 2011. Right after production was complete, Occupy Wall Street took the country by storm. Fahey is a Chicago Filmmaker & is repped commercially through the Odd Machine. This is Sean's second feature documentary.
"A big part of the movie is about how people have a civic duty to protest what's going on and when Occupy sparked I knew I had to go, got permission from my wife (of course) and off I went in the infancy of the movement" Fahey says. "Early in filming, John said people would wake up and start huge protests within a year. He was spot on. The dialog is no longer beyond the grasp of the people, it's just the opposite, it's in the street, kids know all about complex derivatives, Credit Default Swaps and Mortgage Backed Securities frauds, they aren't blind anymore." stated director, Sean Fahey.
