Baltimore Fashion Designer Valerie Williams Launches The Valerie Shantal Spring/Summer Collection

Up-and-coming local fashion designer Valerie Williams announces the launch of the Valerie Shantal spring/summer 2011 collection. The collection consists of 7 new unique and stylish looks including dresses and separates. The name of her spring/summer collection is titled "The Jackie Collection".

In describing her spring/summer line Williams said: " I was inspired by everyday life, believing that the clothes are 'less important' than the person wearing them, and I have created a style that is modern and pure; I love the idea of elegance and intricacy, whether it is in a piece of clothing or a diamond. Her admiration for Jaqueline Kennedy is reflected in this amazing new spring/summer collection. Williams says: "I want my collection to inspire women and show that it's not the garment that makes a person, but it's the person who's wearing it that makes it. There are a lot of colors involved with this collection because I love bright colors and I wanted the garments to really be spring/summerish with the colors. For this collection, I was inspired by Jaqueline Kennedy and wanted to express a little of her style in my collection. That is why I named this "The Jackie Collection."
Valerie Shantal will be available at various boutiques within the Baltimore area for the spring/summer 2011 selling season.
