With numerous other openings in the pipeline the process will only get better. Baristas is fast becoming a universally accepted high end coffee and specialty food and beverage contender. The future is unfolding."

The location in the food court has opened as a Baristas which is believed to be the highest and best use for this property in the opinion of the mall's owner. Baristas joins neighboring Dairy Queen, Subway, and Sbarro, in the mall's multimillion dollar food court area.
“The beginning of many,” stated Lance Lehr, President of BMOC Partners, in announcing the soft opening of the store under the leadership of interim general manager, and longtime BMOC associate, Jason Santomauro. Lehr added that the Dubois location, which has already received its state permits, is scheduled to open by Monday, April 27, with Johnstown and Schuylkill Mall stores shortly thereafter.
A large scale media blitz, centered around a huge radio campaign on local Stroudsburg radio stations, began last week and has already resulted in numerous individuals texting their phone number to Baristas Text Messaging Service at 646-00 to be kept informed of daily specials. Operated by BMOC Partners to support its Baristas Store chain, one can be kept informed of chain news by texting “baristas” to 646-00. For Stroud specials, text “poconos” and for Dubois specials text “Dubois”.
The Stroud Mall store, in operation until April of this year as a franchise unit of Arthur Treachers-Nathans-Pudgies, was purchased effective April 1 by BMOC Partners to convert into a Baristas location. The changeover, under Santomauro’s leadership, took only two weeks from acquisition. It serves a large selection of Hale and Hearty Soups, Espresso, Chicken Tenders, French Fried and Mozzarella Sticks, Salads, Sandwiches, and sinful desserts. A formal grand opening ceremony will be held in the near future.
