Basic Café Opens for Breakfast and Lunch on April 18 at 5000 Adeline St on Oakland/Emeryville Border, under the Bakery Lofts. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Basic Café will open at 5000 Adeline St. in Emeryville, CA on April 18, 2015. The breakfast and lunch menus will include farm fresh and organic ingredients with an innovative twist on American staples, like cornmeal pancakes, eggs benedict with smoked salmon, seasonal fried green tomatoes, brioche French toast with berries, an assortment of fresh salads, flatbreads, and of course Basic Café’s renowned sweet potato, pecan and peach cobbler pies. The Café, which is located in the retail area of the Bakery Lofts on 47th St. and Adeline will open between 8 AM-4 PM, Tuesday-Sunday (closed on Monday). The Café features modern and simple decor indoors and an outdoor patio with lounge chairs and additional seating. In addition, to providing a relaxing atmosphere and  delectable meals, Basic Café hopes to set an example for the restaurant industry by donating five percent of its monthly profits to a local  charity.

In addition, Baseline Produce, an organic produce market offering a modern shopping experience, opened at 5220 Adeline St. Baseline Produce offers farm-fresh organic produce, dry goods, snacks, beverages and special to-go lunch items from Basic Cafe. Baseline Produce is open Monday-Friday 10-7 PM and Saturday and Sunday 9-5 PM.
