Bates Creative Group Supports KEEN Greater DC
DC Area Design Agency Donates to Kids Enjoy Exercise Now
Online, May 5, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Bates Creative Group, a national award-winning design agency, today announced that it is donating creative services for all marketing and promotional materials for KEENFest 2011, in support of Kids Enjoy Exercise Now (KEEN) Greater DC - a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for kids, teens and young adults with significant disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome with recreational activities.
KEENFest will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Woodley Park, Washington, D.C. The proceeds from the event help KEEN Greater DC continue to keep all of its programs for hundreds of athletes and their families entirely free of charge.
KEEN Greater DC was established 19 years ago with a simple idea: pair trained volunteer coaches with young people with disabilities to help them gain skills, confidence, and self-esteem through athletic and recreational activities. With this idea, KEEN has grown to provide 21 programs throughout Greater Washington, DC, to nearly 300 area young people with disabilities, free of charge, thanks to more than 10,000 volunteers.
"KEEN is an outstanding organization and we're honored to participate in its cause. My entire team is looking forward to watching the KEEN Greater DC organization grow and is excited to help spread its positive message through art and design," Debbie Bates-Schrott, Bates Creative Group president.
