Bean Media Reject Julia Gillard Rumour

Bean Media Group, publishers of the award-winning business magazines 'Australia's Best', have rejected rumours that the Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, will be featured in an exclusive one-on-one interview with the publisher.

Despite rumours surfacing around the political and publishing corridors of Australia, Bean Media Group, producers of the iconic series of 'Australia's Best' business titles, have today denied rumours that the company has lined up an exclusive interview with Julia Gillard.

Gillard's career blossomed from an early age and was one of the first female partners in the law firm Slater & Gordon at the age of 29. She specialised in industrial law and became chief of staff to the State Leader of the Opposition, John Brumby. As a prominent figure in Australian business and politics, it doesn't surprise that she has been linked with an exclusive interview with Bean Media.

Gillard was elected to the federal parliament in 1998 and was soon promoted to Labor's leadership group. Gillard developed significant new policies as spokesperson on immigration and health. She became Deputy Leader of the Opposition and Labor's Shadow Minister for Employment and Industrial Relations in 2006.

Following the ALP's success in the 2007 federal election, Julia Gillard became the first woman to serve as Deputy Prime Minister of Australia. In June 2010, following the resignation of Kevin Rudd, she became the first woman appointed as Prime Minister of Australia.

Despite a prominent standing in Australia, and the high profile nature of Bean Media's Australia's Best magazines, a spokesperson from the company has moved to rubbish the Bean Media rumours.

"It's not true that Bean Media Group have secured an interview with our Prime Minister in any of the Australia's Best magazines", the brief Bean Media statement read.

Gillard could be a goof fit for Bean Media's many magazines, which are ready by senior professionals and business leaders across Australia. However, it seems that if the interview with Bean Media does happen, we may be waiting a while for it to materialise.
