"Beatlemania Again" Recreates The Beatles Phenomenon
Online, August 8, 2010 (Newswire.com) - IRVINGTON, NY - This production on October 10, 2010 at 7:00pm at the Irvington Town Hall Theater captures the energy and excitement of The Beatles live performances with the original sounds of the albums. Authenticity is showcased by actual instruments and amplifiers used by The Beatles. The look is astonishing with the fine tailored black velvet suits. Listen to the Beatles entire career. Everything is performed live!
The show begins with "Meet the Beatles" as the group arrives in America for their 1964 debut on the Ed Sullivan Show. Beatlemania Again plays as the band would perform in concert. Next, the performance magically transforms into "Sergeant Pepper." The Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album, released in 1967,was one of the most influential recordings ever released. Beatlemania Again performs the songs with no sequencing, backing tracks or offstage musicians. Then, the closing act, "Get Back," features hits from the Beatles' final albums, Abbey Road and Let it Be.
Opening for Beatlemania Again is singing sensation Doug Ferony. Enjoy his Frank Sinatra crooning style as he sings many American Classics and stanards. He will be taking the stage with his 12 piece swing orchestra. Through the years Doug has appeared in many major motion pictures including Back To School, GoodFellas, Spiderman II, and The Brave One in addition to such television series as Law & Order and The Sopranos. But singing before audiences has been his main love.
Beatlemania Again and Doug Ferony is a great way to have some fun on Columbus Day Weekend. Tickets are $25 & $30. (Ask about the special group rate)
