Beckatt Solutions to Present at Packexpo/pharmaexpo on November 5th on 3d Printing and Packaging
Beckatt Solutions part of seminar on packaging prototyping and implementing 3D printing at packaging expo and trade show.
Chicago, Illinois, October 31, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Michael Storey and Matthew Pray of Beckatt Solutions will lead an education seminar on implementing 3D printing in packaging prototyping at the upcoming PackExpo/PharmaExpo in Chicago on Wednesday, November 5th. The session is scheduled to start at 10:00 am in room # W-192b in the West Building of McCormick Place. Also part of the seminar is Jay Beversdorf of Stratasys.
The session, titled “Packaging Prototyping and Implementing 3D Printing”, and lead by Michael Storey, will focus on using 3D printing packaging prototypes to help alleviate the issues of time and cost of prototyping to a company as they attempt to bring a product or packaging to market. The seminar will also touch on companies using a number of prototype pieces in house, versus having a prototype created by a secondary party. Beckatt Solutions will address using paper-based 3D printing through the Mcor Technologies line of 3D printers to alleviate costs of packaging prototyping and speed time to market. Unisource Engineered Solutions will be examined as a case study in using paper-based 3D printing for packaging prototyping.
We are excited to present at PackExpo/PharmaExpo on using 3D printing to achieve realistic packaging prototypes. The process we discuss will help any company looking to cut prototyping costs and production time.
