In order to serve the thousands of persons interested in learning about the derivatives markets, the BFEX popularization programs are initiatives that encompass monitored visits to the organization`s facilities, lectures, free courses, student championship, partnership with educational institutions throughout the country, simulators, television programs, communication on the Internet and press, institutional publications, promotional material and a visitors' center.
Aiming at communicating the culture of commodity markets, BFEX also promotes the International Financial and Capital Markets Conference. This event will be held in Beijing every two years, and will be recognized as the most important event of its kind in The People`s Republic of China. In its 2010 edition, it gathered over 800 professionals with some of the most respected specialists and prominent academics in the area of finance.
This FEP program holds lectures and free courses on financial education geared towards a diversified assistance.
BFEX Challenge Program is a competition that mimics the capital market, geared towards public and college students. The project will involve in excess of 10,000 people. In 2012, an online version of this competition will be launched, allowing the event to be extended throughout the whole country.
Aiming at attracting individual investors closer to the concepts of the Futures market, this program fosters the participation of man and women in investment alternatives offered by BFEX. The presence of women in the market grew by 681% between 2002 and 2010, while the presence of men grew by 324% in the same period. BFEX will also launch, at the beginning of 2012, an advertising campaign for this program, which will include a new Internet portal, with spreadsheets to control expenses, educational videos and a forum for debate. In the near future, it will be possible to register for courses, lectures and other activities directly on the BFEX website.
