Online, May 31, 2011 (Newswire.com) - belboon-adbutler GmbH has reported its highest ever quarterly results for the first quarter of 2011 thanks to belboon, its affiliate marketing network. The company saw its turnover increase by 36% on the previous year and by 31% on the last quarter of 2010. The average quarterly turnover of financial year 2010 increased by around 43% based on the previous quarter.
The development of belboon-adbutler GmbH, which is 100% owned by YOC AG, is based on its international growth in the first quarter of 2011 and the overall growth of the affiliate marketing sector. "Our goals for interna-tional expansion are the French and English speaking markets as well as The Netherlands" explained CEO, Manuel Kester. "In the last two years we have already effectively carried out an expansion strategy. Our goal is to continue from our success in the German speaking market and establish ourselves as one of the leading affiliate marketing networks in Europe". The market conditions are favourable. According to statistics from OVK - a German market research company for the internet sector - spending for affiliate networks in Germany alone is continuing to grow. In 2011 the OVK predicted an increase of 10% to 373 million EUR. The OVK also predicted an increase of spending for general online marketing to reach 6,230 million EUR this year.
An additional driving force for belboon's growth in the first quarter of 2011 has been the marketing channels of performance display advertising as well as re-targeting. The affiliate network delivers performance display advertising as well as re-targeting as a full service provider. All providers of performance display advertising are signatories to the BVDW e.V (German Federation of Digital Business) code of conduct. The advantage for belboon customers is advertising space on premium web platforms and increased visibility on a performance based business model.
The results posted by belboon-adbutler GmbH go alongside the very good quarterly results reported by the YOC Group. YOC AG reported first quarter turnover of 8.9 million EUR, a record quarterly result for the company. The basis for their success has been the growth of mobile technology and media - which belboon belongs to. As a part of the YOC Group, the European leader of mobile technology and media, the company is able to provide the highest expertise and professional made-for-mobile affiliate marketing technology. Mobile marketing in 2011 continues to be a much talked about topic for experts in online marketing. Crucial for this has been the increasing sales of smart phones. In 2010, every fourth German household owned a multimedia device according to the Deloitte Report "State of the Media Democracy - on the road to the interactive media business"
