Online, June 22, 2011 (Newswire.com) - NY Times and USA Today Bestseller Caridad Pineiro is hosting a series of live video events with some of the country's hottest names in romance fiction. Pineiro, who herself has two upcoming summer releases, THE FIFTH KINGDOM, a romantic suspense from Carina Press and THE LOST, a paranormal romance from Forever Romance, decided to host the impromptu behind the scenes interviews as a way to share some of her favorite writers with fans.
"I truly admire the work of the authors onstage with me and I think readers will love hearing what makes these authors tick and what influences their writing," says Pineiro. "Not to mention that you never know what might happen since the events are live on camera. Be prepared for fun, sexiness and sometimes unexpected visitors."
To help her host these live events, Pineiro turned to Book Candy Studios, an innovative and leading provider of services to authors. "I've found Book Candy Studios to be an awesome company to work with from both a technology standpoint and as out-of-the-box thinkers when it comes to doing book promotion."
That innovation prompted Pineiro to consider offering her live (and free to readers) interview series with her fellow friends and authors. Pineiro has already hosted award-winning and best-selling authors Donna Grant and Lisa Renee Jones who are part of the Danger Women Writing author group. Readers can visit Pineiro's site at www.caridad.com to watch recordings of those past events.
On June 23 at 9 pm EST, Pineiro will be sharing the stage with NY Times Bestseller Jeaniene Frost to talk about urban fantasy, paranormal romance and trends in those popular genres. Look for NY Times Bestseller Larissa Ione and RITA-nominated bestseller Cynthia Eden in future events in July.
What's up next for Pineiro? "I'm really excited about my THE FIFTH KINGDOM and THE LOST because both share a love of all things mystical and magic. In THE FIFTH KINGDOM, the mystical revolves an ancient while in THE LOST, which is set along the Jersey Shore, a unique race of people can use energy almost magically to heal, kill, shapeshift and do lots of other cool things."
Pineiro's legion of loyal fans will also be happy to hear that Caridad is returning to her vampire roots with a novella in the A VAMPIRE FOR CHRISTMAS anthology in October 2011 and with the 2012 return of the award-winning and successful THE CALLING vampire series from Harlequin.
