Better Advertising Professionals Hosts Interns, Gives Back

Better Advertising Professionals’ Admin discussed the firm’s internship program and its many incentives. She also highlighted the team’s current efforts to support a local nonprofit.

The Better Advertising Professionals internship program prepares college students and new graduates with real-world experience. Beth G., an Admin with the firm, stated, “Our interns get to work up-close and personal with the companies we promote. The hands-on education they receive is invaluable to them as they move forward with their careers. This year, we have lots of exciting incentives that make the program even more attractive!”

The interns are competing across our division to win some big prizes. The Admin explained, “The top 30 performers from across the division will be gifted an all-expenses-paid trip to Cancun, Mexico. Everyone is pushing beyond their current skill-sets to claim this prize. Along with this incentive, we also took our top new hire to an NBA Finals game. There is lots of exciting stuff going on around the Better Advertising Professionals office.”

Employers want candidates who possess work experience, and the Better Advertising Professionals internship program provides plenty of it. Matt R., the firm’s Director of Operations, remarked, “Along with personal coaching from experienced team members, our interns polish their communication skills and learn how to act in a professional atmosphere. They leave our office ready to make strong impressions on hiring managers.”

Better Advertising Professionals Team Members Give Back to a Community Institution

Team giving is a central tenet of the Better Advertising Professionals culture. Gantz commented, “As a team, we believe it’s important to give back to good causes – especially those benefitting children.” This is why the firm’s associates volunteer their talents with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan from time to time. The nonprofit provides youth development services of all kinds to those between the ages of six and 18 throughout the region.

The Admin continued, “We enjoy working with the Boys & Girls Club. We are also supporting an organization called Kids’ Food Basket. This group attacks childhood hunger in western Michigan by providing evening meals for children through the Sack Supper program. These meals are distributed in classrooms or at local parks throughout our region.”

Giving back is a great way to build the company’s reputation. Gantz concluded, “We feel that we have a lot of privileges through the work we do. Being an active part of the community is an opportunity for us to forge meaningful relationships with local leaders and business influencers alike.”
