Bhilwara Rajasthan Sangam University - ITM Celebrates Teachers Day 2012

By making you to take a test after a lesson during the educational years, indeed it is the teacher who prepares you to take a test and learn a lesson later in life

No one has doubt that the youth of India today who are mostly students get shaped by the teachers to be top ranking leaders of India tomorrow. In the Indian culture, a teacher is revered as a guru and parent who guides, motivates and inspires the students to gain knowledge and mould them to be good citizens.

The birthday of a great teacher, philosopher and the former President of India, Dr Saravepalli Radhakrishnan is celebrated all over India on 5 September every year as Teacher Day.

To celebrate the teachers' day, the students of Sangam University - ITM Bhilwara organized various activities across various departments to entertain and felicitate the teachers. The decorated class rooms had cake cutting sessions too. Prof NK Mathur Principal ITM advised the students to work hard to make their dreams come true.

Prof BR Natarajan President - Vice Chancellor presented a glimpse of the greatness of Dr Radhakrishnan and pointed out that post independence it was the Radhakrishnan Commission (1948-49) which tried to integrate the secondary education and higher education with the recommendation for the establishment of University Grant Commission (UGC).

He also thanked the students on behalf of all faculty of Sangam University - ITM and appealed to them to carry on their mission with passion to bring about the economic as well as cultural transformation of India and advised them not to stop even if there are setbacks, since a traveler only by undertaking the journey through hardships would find paradise. Prof Nesamoorthy Registrar also addressed the students and urged them to bring out the best of their potentials.
