BIA Chairman Guy Asaro Forecasts for 2012 and Beyond at McMillin Realty Event
Online, May 14, 2012 (Newswire.com) - McMillin Realty recently held a real estate market forecast event, hosting the top 100 real estate agents from around South San Diego County. Guy Asaro, President of McMillin Homes and 2012 Chairman of the Building Industry Association of San Diego County, and Dan Hanson, a national banking expert, spoke to the agents about their projections for the real estate market, and updated them on the latest trends in the industry. Scott McMillin, President of McMillin Realty, spoke to the agents and introduced Mr. Asaro and Mr. Hanson.

Mr. Asaro, a housing industry veteran of over 25 years, recapped the market trends from the last couple of years and gave an encouraging forecast for 2012 and beyond, inspiring a sense of optimism and hope for the industry. He also updated the audience on the progress of The Corky McMillin Companies' newest endeavor Millenia, a planned mixed-use development in South Bay that will break ground next year. Mr. Hanson, former Senior Vice President for Bank of America, gave his banking industry forecast and addressed new rules and laws pertaining to refinancing, short sales, and foreclosures.
