BibleReader 4 from Olive Tree targets iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android mobile phones

Olive Tree Bible Software, electronic publisher of Bible resources, offers new reading and study tools for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, and Symbian 60-5

Olive Tree Bible Software, known for its software across major mobile platforms, will release powerful new Hebrew and Greek study tools for iPhone later this month. Olive Tree has also released a new BibleReader for BlackBerry and expanded its BibleReader technology to include two completely new mobile platforms: Android and Symbian 60-5.

BibleReader 4 for iPhone implements new Unicode Greek and Hebrew features, along with advanced parsing tools, scholarly texts, and reference works. BibleReader 4 for iPhone will be distributed on iTunes.

Olive Tree has also released a redesigned BibleReader for BlackBerry smartphones. Compatible with touch-screen devices like the Storm and Storm2, as well as keyboard devices like the Bold, Tour, Curve, and others, this BibleReader offers new features such as network detection for over-the-air components of BibleReader software and a look and feel customized to match native BlackBerry programs.

BibleReader for Android, released for public beta this month and already downloaded by hundreds of users, coincides with a wave of new Android phones released this fall, including the Motorola Droid, and the HTC G1, G3, and Hero.

BibleReader for Symbian 60-5 is customized for the latest version of Symbian OS, an operating system used widely by Nokia and powering Nokia phones such as the N97, 5800, and X6. Numerically, Symbian OS is a leading mobile operating system worldwide, with users concentrated in Europe and Asia.
