Mr. Eberhard has been chosen as a Distinguished Lawyer based on peer reviews and ratings, dozens of recognitions, and accomplishments achieved throughout his career.

The only thing we are guaranteed is that things will be different tomorrow. If you are attuned to these changes—but stay true to your ethics and experience—they can create opportunities for growth.

With nearly 40 years of experience dedicated to law, Mr. Eberhard brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry, and, in particular, to his areas of specialization, business and personal injury law and litigation. When asked why he decided to pursue a career in litigation, Mr. Eberhard said:
"I became a legal intern with the City of Indianapolis, where I was given the opportunity to manage and attend all phases of ligation connected with a caseload of two hundred files before the Marion County Small Claims Court. I also had the opportunity to litigate various matters before many administrator boards. At that point, I think it became obvious to me and those around me that my skill set was well-suited to litigation."
Working on a state line, Mr. Eberhard deals with conflicting personal injury laws in Michigan and Indiana, requiring an in-depth understanding of the laws in each state and a natural ability to negotiate: not just between state legal systems, but between injured plaintiffs, insurance companies, and those who have injured someone. He has tried cases ranging from automotive injuries to animal and tractor-trailer related injuries, and from liquor license issues to discrimination matters, among many others.
As a thought-leader in his field, Mr. Eberhard has observed decades of evolution in his areas of practice. As he notes, he has come to rely more on his own professional philosophies than on fluctuations in legislation, or even public opinion:
"The only thing we are guaranteed is that things will be different tomorrow. If you are attuned to these changes—but stay true to your ethics and experience—they can create opportunities for growth."
Mr. Eberhard is a Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished Rated attorney and a member of the Indiana Council of School Attorneys, the National Council of School Attorneys, and the Indiana Municipal Lawyers Association.
