Bill Henagan Named Board Chair for Visiting Nurse Health System
Replaces Outgoing Chair Caroline Moise Who Will Continue as Board Member
Atlanta, GA, January 9, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Visiting Nurse Health System announced the appointment of William F. Henagan as Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors. Bill has served as a Visiting Nurse board member since 2009, including tenure as the chair of the Strategic Planning Committee and as a member of the Executive/Finance Committee. He currently serves as Managing Director of Henagan Spencer Capital Partners, a privately-funded investment and advisory firm providing debt and equity solutions for lower middle market companies in the southeast US.
"Bill’s success in the financial industry and his contributions as a board member over the past 6 years, combined with his family’s personal experience with our hospice program, positions him perfectly to assume the board chair position," said Mark Oshnock, CEO of Visiting Nurse. "Outgoing chair Caroline Moise built a solid foundation for Bill to apply his ideas and leadership, and Bill’s passion and dedication will help us raise the bar for home health and hospice care in metro Atlanta in 2015 and beyond."
Bill added, "Mark and his team are engaged in a thoughtful transition, for an important part of the healthcare safety net dedicated to Metro Atlanta. Community support continues to be essential for Visiting Nurse’s success and I am pleased to play a role."
Bill also serves on the boards of The Atlanta Venture Forum, The Lovett School and Wesley Woods Foundation. A native Atlantan, Bill received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Vanderbilt University and earned his Master of Business Administration from Emory’s Goizueta Business School.
