Billboard Charting Recording Artist Lakotah To Perform Sunday's Day Of The Dead Festival In Whitter, CA
Online, October 10, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Lakotah made a name for herself with her national dance music hit "Falling" this year on the US Billboard Charts, reaching the top 45 on that chart this Spring. It was supported by thousands of dance clubs across America and still plays regularly. Her music video for "Falling" has been highly acclaimed and was featured on the prestigious club stream Promo Only as well as becoming a YouTube favorite. She will be performing with her musicians and backing dancers live on stage in Whittier for the annual Dia De Los Muertos (Day Of The Dead) Arts and Music Festival on Sunday, October 13th at 3 pm. The performance marks the first Southern California appearance since her national debut.

As expected, Lakotah will perform her National hit "Falling" and will give a sneak preview of her upcoming single "Call Me' joined on stage by Del Oro Music label-mate Brat Rocker Juliet B. Rock who helps out of the chorus with the familiar strains of the 1980's Blondie hit "Call Me", incorporated in the new track.
The afternoon performance will be a highlight in the festival that closes down the main streets of Whittier and pumps up the music and provides heaps of arts crafts. Before and after Lakotah's performance, the streets will be filled with noted DJs from Los Angeles radio's POWER 106, LATINO 96 and other well known national touring mixers. On hand will be on air talent from the 24K Music Network who will introduce Lakotah on stage and feature her performance in segments for the national network for the rest of the month on TV.
Robert Eibach, producer for the network is expecting an exciting show. "We have had Lakotah on the interview shows this year and she has a lot of energy with her music and personality," he says. "We are anxious to grab a taste of her live performance and feature it all month for our new Dance Music show Dance Party," he explains.
Local regulars warn festival newbies to arrive early. Parking can be an issue with more than 5,000 attending the event. Parking is available on nearby side streets and several local city parking lots.
