Billion-Dollar 'Serial Entrepreneur' to Share Her Secrets
Online, April 26, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Sydney, Australia (April 26, 2010) - Anne McKevitt, voted "Leading Women Entrepreneur of the World" 2002-2003, is sharing secrets of her billion-dollar successes during a one-time teleseminar on April 28 at http://AnneMcKevitt.FavoritesClub.com
Hosted by McKevitt's business and mentoring associate Alexandria Brown, a multi-million dollar business owner in her own right, the call will highlight a conversation between the two entrepreneurs that explores "50 Reasons why you haven't made your first million yet". Their intention is to help businesses of all sizes to further their business and financial goals, even more important during uncertain economic times.
"It will be nice to actually help people move forward with their businesses and do it on a bigger scale than the sort of one-to-one's that I normally do," says McKevitt, who consults with and mentors business leaders at some of the world's largest companies and is a member of the Clinton Global Initiative.
According to recent figures released by the research and consulting firm Spectrem Group, the number of families in the US with a net worth of over $1 million rose to 7.8 million in 2009, from approximately 6.7 million a year earlier. This represents approximately 2.5% of the population in one of the world's largest free-market economies.
But the two entrepreneurs believe there's a misconception about what it really takes to become a member of the "million-dollar club" that would allow many more businesses to reach that level. "While there's a lot of How-to's out there," Brown says, "it's more often about the things people need to stop doing than start doing." She continues by saying that's how the topic of their upcoming call first came about during a recent discussion that inspired the unique event.
The call is scheduled to take place at 8pm Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Details are available at the website http://AnneMcKevitt.FavoritesClub.com
