Biscom and Nintex® Announce Partnership to Easily Integrate Fax Capabilities into Nintex Workflow 2007

Collaboration Greatly Simplifies the Routing of Incoming Faxes into Nintex Workflows and the Sending of Outgoing Faxes from Nintex Workflows

Chelmsford, MA- April 27, 2010 -Biscom, Inc. (http://www.biscom.com), a leading provider of enterprise fax and document delivery solutions, and Nintex (http://www.nintex.com), a leading global innovator of software products designed to help organizations "Do More With SharePoint™" announced today that they are partnering to streamline the process of fax-enabling automated Nintex Workflows.

With Biscom's Enterprise Fax for SharePoint, incoming faxes are intelligently routed as searchable PDF files into SharePoint document libraries using information extracted from the fax image itself, such as bar code data, as well as transmission information associated with the fax, such as sender's Caller ID. Both the information extracted from the fax and the transmission information can then be used not only to auto-populate the document library column values but also to initiate a SharePoint workflow created with Nintex Workflow 2007.

To send outgoing faxes from automated workflows, Biscom has developed a Send Fax action that enables designers to automate creation and delivery of faxes from a Nintex workflow. The Send Fax action can be configured to automatically populate the fax with transmission and content data from an associated document library entry.

"The integration of Biscom fax and Nintex workflow technology will automate business processes that involve receipt and delivery of faxes, resulting in reduction in related manual paper processing, increased worker productivity and improved tracking of fax related transactions", according to Charlie Magliato, Biscom Channel Manager. "Biscom is excited to be partnering with Nintex, the leading supplier of workflow technology for SharePoint, and looks forward to delivering an integrated solution that will allow SharePoint users to include fax as an automated component of their Nintex workflows."

"Nintex welcomes Biscom, a pioneer of fax server integration, as a technology partner. Automation, innovation and user experience have driven this partnership and these translate into the key benefits for users" said Wayne Woolston, Nintex managing director.
