Bishop Eddie Long Finally Respond To Sexual Allegations - Breaking News!
Online, November 1, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Fox 5 Atlanta is reporting that Bishop Eddie Long has finally responded to the allegations made by four men who claim that he coerced them into sexual relationships. Bishop Eddie Longs Attorney William Hill filed an official response today categorically denying having sex with any of the four men that have filed civil lawsuits against him and New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.
The Preacher Bureau of Investigations (www.PimpPreacher.com) is reporting from a source within the New Birth congregation that many faithful members at New Birth welcomed the public response to the sexual coercion lawsuit.
The response to the allegations was filed by his attorney who states that there was never any sexual contact with Bishop Long and the four men in an official filing today in court. Bishop Long said he encouraged some of the men to call him "Daddy" and some even called him "Granddaddy" but he never had sex with any of the men in question.
The scandal involving Bishop Eddie Long made National and even International news on September 21, 2010 and since then many followers of the scandal have waited nearly two months for Bishop Eddie Long to do what he finally did today.
Bishop Long says that he was a mentor to the young men and even travel with them but sex was never a part of their relationship.
The sexual allegation lawsuit is not the only hurdle facing Bishop Eddie Long as a bank has also sued the Pastor for $1.9 million resulting from a defaulted property loan in Clayton County. As this story continues to unfold the one thing that is for certain is the civil court house in Atlanta better brace itself for a media spectacle once both of these cases are set for trial.
