Black Man Survival Guide Celebrates Beautiful Black Women Profile #50

Self-help website for African Americans celebrates milestone and announces new contest to promote Beautiful Black Women.

Today AfroDaddy.com - The Black Man Survival Guide, the leading self-help African American website announces the posting of its 50th profile in their popular module, Beautiful Black Women (BBW). AfroDaddy.com is all about highlighting the best and brightest among us and the Beautiful Black Women module has been very helpful in furthering our cause. "The BBW came into existence as we found that there were too few websites presenting African American Women in a positive light" says Darrell Garrett, Senior Editor at AfroDaddy.com. The pages in BBW showcase beautiful black women who truly represent beauty in all of its forms. Some of the women are standards of physical beauty, while others are as equally beautiful on the inside - creating art, music, literature, and poetry that truly show us that the black woman is an amazing example of talent and grace. The 50th profile is of Melissa-Harris Perry, the talented author of Sister Citizen and the Professor of political science at Tulane University.

To celebrate the 50th profile AfroDaddy.com is proud to announce the Beautiful Black Women Profile Contest in which site users and fans will select 1 person to profile per quarter. "As with all our features it is extremely important to us to spotlight everyday African Americans doing extraordinary things" says Mr. Garrett. "Taking profiles submitted by users exposes us to so many deserving profiles we otherwise might never have seen."
Anyone interested in submitting a profile for consideration can do so from now until March 31st. If you are just looking to share your profile with our community this is a great vehicle. If you are however a person looking for self-promotion or additional exposure, this profile is a wonderful opportunity. The BBW is currently ranked #2 in Google under "beautiful black women" and receives several thousand page views per month.

To submit your profile for consideration:

1."Like" the AfroDaddy Facebook page: http://facebook.com/TheBlackManSurvivalGuide

2.Send an email to [email protected] with: a) A brief bio about yourself and your background (1-3 paragraphs); b) 6 - 10 photos of yourself and/or your products. For example you might want to mix in some photos of your artwork if you are an artist, or a picture of a book cover if you are an author; c) A quote from you that you want to share with the community.

The selected profile will be featured with a full page article, which contains the bio and photo portfolio of between 6 to 10 pictures.

AfroDaddy.com looks forward to the next 50 profiles and is excited to kick it off with this contest. "There are so many beautiful and talented black women that we wish we could profile them all."
