Black 'N Blue Comes To Denver - March 25th
Online, March 3, 2011 (Newswire.com) - For those of you who love their Rock n roll served up in a Bombastic Bigger-Than-Life 80s fashion and reside anywhere near Denver, Colorado, you're in for a real prize when Black n Blue comes back to town for the first time since the heydays of big hair metal and album oriented rock. Lead singer Jaime St James says ""HELL YEAH!!! Rockers be there... we're gonna rip it up!" While Drummer Pete Holmes quipped "This show is going to be killer ,the whole band is really into it!"
On March 25th 2011 David B Productions will present Black n Blue - with special guests The Dark and The Threatened - live for one night only at Casselmans, located in NoDo Denver!! Black n Blue, with 4 out of the 5 original members, is ready to Heat it up and Burn it out!! The lineup of Jaime St. James (V), Pete Holmes (dr),Patrick Young(b), Jeff Warner (Guitarist Tommy Thayer is somewhat busy in a band called Kiss-maybe you've heard of them? Also Shawn Sonnenschein (G)).
Black n Blue rose to fame when Don Dokken took an interest in them and produced their demos. That led them to work with Dieter Dirks, the producer for a good number of Scorpions and Accept LP's (Don Dokken did the scratch vocal tracks for Blackout LP while Klaus Meine recovered from surgery). Dieter produced the 1st S/T LP which is largely considered a classic by most. After that Bruce Fairburn (Bon Jovi, Aerosmith) took over production duties for 'Without Love'. Gene Simmons of Kiss produced their Nasty Nasty and 'In Heat' LP's and co-wrote several songs. Listen to the song Nasty Nasty by Black n Blue, then listen to Domino by Kiss and you will hear how they influenced each other.
Performing such classic MTV hits as Hold on To 18, Miss Mystery, I'll be there for you (a little trivia, did you know that this song was written by Journey's Jonathan Cain), and many more...Black n Blue will rock you in classic 80s style. The band has been busy doing festival dates and recording their comeback CD titled "Hell Yeah!" which will be released late spring early Summer of 2011 on Frontiers records. The Denver show is sure to be an Autoblast!!
David B Productions is Denver's newest Promotional company that specializes in Hard Rock. Together there is over 40 years of promoting experience, and the drive to Rock the Rockies once more!
