Bloomex on Pace for Busiest Holiday Season Yet
Online, December 17, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Bloomex, a national Canadian florist with additional operations in the United States and Australia, is on pace for its most successful holiday season in company history.
Bloomex is an online florist, where customers purchase products through Bloomex.ca or by calling a toll-free number. This year, the company has seen its strongest December sales and web traffic in its history, dating back to Bloomex's founding in 2005. The success has been fueled by the popularity of the company's gift baskets.
The strong holiday sales put a cap on Bloomex's best sales year in company history.
"We've seen amazing interest this holiday season in our line of holiday bouquets and particularly, our holiday gift baskets," said Mark Camphaug, director of marketing for Bloomex. "The continued growth of Bloomex speaks to the value we offer our customers and our commitment to excellent products and customer service."
Though Bloomex's core business is in Canada, its international business in the United States and Australia has grown sharply in 2013.
The BunchesDirect wedding flower brand made tremendous strides in the United States in 2013, posting its best sales since the site was launched. The United States leads the way for the company in terms of wedding flower sales. The BunchesDirect brand also has a Canadian version (BunchesDirect.ca) and Australian version (BunchesDirect.com.au) of the website for consumers in those countries.
Meanwhile, the company's Australian division (bloomex.com.au) reports its best sales year since its launch in 2011. Bloomex began to offer gift baskets in Australia in late 2012, and their popularity is driving sales this holiday season. Bloomex Australia's core business success is complimented by the continued growth of the Australian BunchesDirect brand, which continues to establish itself as a significant player in the Australian wedding flowers market.
Bloomex was founded in 2005, and has served over a million customers since its founding. The company has production facilities in eight Canadian cities, allowing timely delivery to the vast majority of Canadians. It also maintains production facilities in Miami, Fla. and Sydney, Aus.
