BLOOMFIELD, N.J., July 19, 2017 (Newswire.com) - The 6th Annual Bloomfield Restaurant Week (BRW) will showcase "what's cooking" in Bloomfield's local culinary scene from Saturday, August 5 through Sunday, August 13. With more than 20 restaurants sharing their fan favorites and new offerings, the culinary event will give patrons a chance to dine at long-time establishments and explore flavors at Bloomfield's newest arrivals. Each restaurant will feature their budget-friendly lunch specials, and dinner selections at $30 and under (excluding drinks, tax and tip), which will provide options for every taste and budget.
This past year has seen several new entries onto the Bloomfield culinary scene and a number of those, including Biblian’s Café, Café MoBay, Max's Restaurant and Sátis Bistro, will make their debuts as part of BRW.
Over 20 participating restaurants will share their fan favorites and new offerings at the popular annual culinary event.
Bloomfield Restaurant Week committee member Rodgee Cao, whose restaurant, Spice Thai Cuisine, will be participating for the sixth year, says restaurant week "is a good and effective way of showcasing the diverse cuisine our beloved town has to offer." Cao noted that the event is "free advertising" for participating restaurants and notes that through their participation, Spice Thai Cuisine has "found new customers who have never had Thai food, but are now regular customers."
Two hour complimentary parking, courtesy of the Bloomfield Parking Authority, will be available during Bloomfield Restaurant week beginning at 11:00 a.m. at bagged meters from August 5-13. In addition, the Bloomfield Recreation Department will offer child care via "Drop & Dine" nights at the Bloomfield Civic Center on August 10, 11 and 12 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for children in grades K-6 (Fee: $20 per night, per child).
