Freight and Logistics Concept Continues Leadership Excellence with New Team Member
Online, March 8, 2012 (Newswire.com) - BlueGrace Logistics, the nation's most progressive logistics, transportation and technology provider, announced today that Adam Blankenship has been added to the company as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Customer Development.
Blankenship joins the team with years of industry experience and will be responsible for yield management, marketing, strategy and sales planning for the brand.
"BlueGrace is a fast-paced company powered by an energetic team of leaders," Blankenship said. "I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with a variety of different people at such a growth oriented company."
Blankenship has been in the transportation industry for nearly 15 years, starting off at Yellow Transportation, now known as YRC Freight, as Vice President of Pricing and Sales Strategy. He was a key leader during some of YRC's most profitable years, not to mention he was one of the youngest officers in the company's long history. Looking for new challenges and a more fast-paced environment, Blankenship joins BlueGrace with the opportunity to create value for both carriers and customers.
"The greatest advantage we have over our competition is our leadership and our people," said President and CEO Bobby Harris.
