The Red Dot Design Awards are given for products that excel in innovative design in an international pool of renowned designers and promising new talent.

The Red Dot Design Awards are presented by the German Institute of Design Zentrum Nordrhein-Westfaln. An official awards ceremony will be held in Essen, Germany on July 2, 2012 to formally recognize the winners.
