Body Mechanics Orthopedic Massage Mainlines 'taping' into Heir Treatments

Body Mechanics Orthopedic Massage, located at 315 Madison ave. has main-lined 'taping' into their treatments.

Body Mechanics Orthopedic Massage, located at 315 Madison ave. at suite 2200 just across from Grand Central has added taping to their ortho-massage therapy treatment protocol. Orthopedic massage often blends 'sports massage' and 'medical massage' techniques to work with the soft tissue of the human body, and now this clinic is adding the modality of taping to the roster of treatment choices. 'RockTape' is a special kind of tape that has bio-mechanical lifting mechanism that lifts the skin away from the soft tissue underneath, which allows more blood to move into an injured area to accelerate healing and recovery. Traditional treatment massage treatment ends when the client leaves the table, but by using this tape, the treatment goes on. The use of this tape in conjunction with a massage therapy treatment takes the treatment beyond the hour or two paid for and into the next few days.

Body Mechanics plans to use this as an on going service to their clients for both injury treatment and to enhance performance performance. The tape will be used in conjunction with the Running program, Sports massage program, the CrossFit program and the medical massage program (though clients from any program may request it). Clients can either bring their own tape, pay the cost of the taping fee or buy a roll onsite to use. Body Mechanics is thrilled to be offering this service to the Grand Central and surrounding neighborhood.
