After she being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, she has become a staunch and vocal advocate for others who are suffering from the condition. She is a strong believer in using lifestyle to combat her illness, using nutrition and regular exercise to help remedy her symptoms and helping others do the same. She also supports the Windermere Foundation along with her colleagues at the company’s Greenwood office. Together they have raised over $30 million since 1989 on behalf of their community for programs and organizations that provide food, shelter, and emergency aid to Washington State families in need.
