As a writer, I focus on the three E's: engage, entertain and educate, not necessarily in that order. We're all Newbies in subject areas we're unfamiliar with. Our readers are intelligent people who need guidance in performing a task or developing a skill set.

4 What kind of response has your new book received?

Most readers seem to like our no-nonsense approach. The publisher decided on a smaller book with fewer pages than the standard "Guide." Good decision. Users want quick step-by-step guidance for the most popular features, lots of pictures and not a lot of fluff.
